MINUTES OF A PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
Held in the Village Hall, All Cannings on Wednesday 27 June 2012
PRESENT: Mr. C. Butcher, (in the chair),
Mrs. S. Butcher, Mr. D. Tilley, Mr. K. Warman, Cllr. L. Grundy (WC).
APOLOGIES None
Mr. Kevin Gay was co-opted to the Office Parish Councillor.
MINUTES
Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 30 May 2012, having been circulated were confirmed as a true record and signed by the chairman.
MATTERS ARISING
Parking situation at school on going. Drop off point arranged, to be monitored.
Jubilee Tree Project: Thanks conveyed to the PC for their support. Chairman to discuss proposals with Richard Drury, solicitor, who will negotiate with the landowners, Wadworths, regarding structure. Keith Warman to liaise with Jubilee Tree Project personnel regarding any issues.
REPORTS
Village Community Store: Running successfully
PCC: Copy of the correspondence received by the parish council regarding the survey completed on the churchyard by James Long (Masons) Ltd, forwarded to the PCC.
Doug Tilley to liaise with the PCC. Faculty application to be obtained from the Diocese of Salisbury. Further quote to be obtained from Charles Winchcombe.
Cemetery: Loose headstones could be repaired. Chairman to inform relatives. Side entrance to be investigated.
Village Green: Repairs commenced on repairs to Play Area equipment.
Village Hall: Royal Diamond Jubilee Celebrations tea very successful. Correspondence received thanking the Parish Council for their help in securing the grant of £300.00 from Wiltshire Council, which covered the expenses incurred for the event.
Glebe Field: Registration as a Village Green confirmed with the exception of the allotments. Trees planted on the triangle, thanks to Tim Daw.
Kennet and Avon: Nothing to report.
All Cannings Primary School: Have won the National St John’s first aid competition.
CORRESPONDENCE
WC: CPRE: Entry form for the Best Kept Village Competition 2012, together with the village profile and maps received from PC.
Wiltshire Music Centre: Small Schools Music Festival: Thanks received regarding donation of £50.00.
Comments received from John Mead regarding structure of minutes.
NALC: The New Code NALC of Conduct was adopted by the Parish Council at the meeting. The New Code of Conduct to be adopted by 01 July 2012.

Parish Councils.
